This is phase 1 of our network upgrade bringing 10gig connectivity to our QNAP TVS872-XT NAS device using a Zyxel XGS1250.

My plan is to upgrade a section of our network to enable faster access to video editing across the network rather than locally. We managed to get a Zyxel XGS1250-12 network switch that comes with 3 copper 10Gb ethernet ports and a 1Gb/10Gb SFP port. It also has 8 x 1Gb copper ethernet ports so it’s perfect for small offices or the home.
